No, your eyes are not deceiving you, it is a Halloween box. While I was search for a checkbook cover tutorial I came across this fabric box tutorial on paygelyra's blog. It was so easy to follow. The only thing I did differently is that I quilted the sides, bottom, and pocket of the box. I used Halloween fabric to test it out before I used my good fabric. I really love the way it turned out. It came out bigger than I thought (each side is 8 in.) I think the next one I make is going to be 6x6 in.
